With Chinese New Year drawing closer, so, too, came the shifting of furniture around the house. My bed’s now facing the opposite direction, on the opposite side of the room, the table with my TV and PS3 now standing where it used to be, and all the other furniture that were carelessly lying around are now neatly leaned against new walls.

Along with the move, of course, comes the moving of all these Feng Sui items around the house. A couple of water elements here, a little ground from the south-east area there, and a whole lot of facing here, there, and everywhere. I even have a few golden items in my bag now (what for, exactly, I’m not entirely sure), and a compass at all times to know where to face when I’m talking to clients. It’s fun for me, I guess, because I’m not as caught up in it as the rest of the family. I get to just play along and see if it actually does me any good. If it does, well and good; if it doesn’t, no harm done, right?

These three little buggers are on my window sill right now, beside stacks and stacks of coins. I’m guessing they’re there to either protect me and my room, or bring more wealth into it. It stands to be tested.
