350/20: February 5
This here is… well, he doesn’t really have a name yet. We’ve settled on Tokyo for the meantime, but I don’t think I’m ready to stick with that permanently. He’s Hachi’s son. It seems like only yesterday that Hachi was a cute little puppy herself. Oh, how quickly they grow.
Oh, and Tokyo and I share the same birthday, January 13 :D

You guys remember Hachi, right? Well, this little bugger’s her son. Any name suggestions? I need to give him a really cool name!
Watch him MROWR!

Just reblogging because 1) I like the photo, 2) I like chocolate and macadamia nuts, and 3) I have nothing else to post about yet, nor will I have anything else to post about before the sun goes down because I’ve been shooper busy.
It’s raining kinda strong now, and I’m really enjoying the cool breeze. And the smell. Who doesn’t love the smell of rain?

She won Show Stopper, and he won Best Dressed Guy. They both got their own crowns and sashes. I’m really glad she enjoyed her evening :)

As promised, the final photo from my little sister’s prom. With her date. With the shoulder-piece she made for him. They were so matchy-matchy, it was very entertaining.

Today was my grandparents’ Golden Wedding Anniversary. That’s fifty whole years of being married to each other. It’s very romantic, in a way, and it kinda gives you the feeling that there’s still hope left in this world for love and lasting relationships. Being able to celebrate this some time down the road is definitely something I’m determined to do.

The whole evening was a pleasant surprise. The caterers, the food, the guests. We didn’t think we’d fill the number of seats we ordered for, but my uncles managed to invite more people last minute. The food was great, the caterers were great. Our grandparents’ surprise was definitely icing on the cake :)

Now you’d think I’d post a photo with my grandparents, but you’d be wrong. See, this photo with my siblings and my cousin ranks among one of my better shots of the evening. I have a few other good shots, but none of them with the oldies. I’ll try getting over myself and posting a decent photo from the event. Till then, you’ll have to make do with this. I love these three to bits, and I hope none of them ever change ♥

I had a really great time tonight. It’s always such a pleasant time being around this side of the family. I’m really glad our grandparents had a great time.

Today’s been a really great day for so many reasons.
Janny’s Christmas postcard came in the mail. Receiving anything in the mail always gives me this warm and fuzzy feeling inside. If receiving something I ordered on eBay send me spiraling down the stairs in happiness, just imagine how much more sick with joy I am when it’s a letter from a friend living abroad. If I had to put it into words, it’s a somewhat watered down version of knowing that everything’s right in this world. Thanks again for the postcard, Janny. I really love it :)
My credit card came in the mail. I loved this one for a different reason. It’ll be my first credit line where I’m the principal cardholder. If I play it right, this will be a very good opportunity for me to make myself a good credit line. Oh, the life of an adult.
I attended my first contract signing. I was starstruck. If there was any one politician whose name I haven’t forgotten since reading about her for the first time, it would have to be her. That woman up there in the center, Dinky Soliman, Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
I first read about her sometime in late elementary, or early high school. She always seemed like a really nice woman, though in Philippine politics, you never really know who’s bad and who’s good anymore. Thankfully, she turned out to be the pleasant lady I always thought she was. Her signature colored highlight definitely made her even cooler. She changes it based on the cause she’s currently advocating. I got to shake her hand, too. I don’t know why, but it felt like such an honor. HAHAHA!
If you know how terribly ignorant I am towards Philippine politics and everything that has to do with it, you’ll understand why I found it so weird to even care that I was shaking her hand. She seemed like a nice lady, sue me.
Dinner and drinks at Gino’s. There’s nothing quite like ending a workday with wine and pizza. Good company’s always a plus. It was nice to see a different side of our boss and partners. I guess it takes sharing a table like this to see that they’re human, too, with very human interests and very human jokes and quips. Party animals, the lot of them!

I told you I wouldn’t do this again until I hit the double-digits. I just did, and I’m already playing the card. HO HUM.
Today was a long, albeit very eventful (as you may or may not have read), day. Everything worth mentioning, I’ve already written about. Had a surprisingly good afternoon.
I hope everyone had a great day, too :)

Okay, so I promise I’m never going to do this again (until the next time I run out of things to post, at least), but I was just too lazy to re-post-process the photo. And, I guess it works two-ways: I get to post about my doughnut addiction, and I get to plug my 2012 blog.
That one with a marshmallow-y glob drizzled with caramel on top of it… oh my god. Doughnutgasm.

Oh, the life of a fatty.
