The difficulty with most people is that they want to be right. You will find few people who admit to mistakes. You will find even fewer people who admit to mistakes, are willing to listen to others, and aim to find the most rational resolution. They seek the truth through discourse, and a solution which can benefit the common good.

You will, however, find a lot of people who have strong convictions, but deaf ears. They are difficult to sway, calling those who believe too easily “fools”. They demand hard facts, and even then deny the facts when they are given to them by people. For them, to see is to believe. But they believe only what they want to see. Their goal is to debate, force their words as truth, and often vie for a solution that benefit themselves.

Then, of course, there are the blind followers. Taken by mass hysteria. Eager to believe what is given to them. Too lazy to sift through the details. Often, turning into deaf bigots. They are nothing but mere added volume, and often the type of people mass media seek after, in order to  strengthen their stand, as if more people would make their belief more true. But we all know that’s a logical fallacy.

Which one are you?

I think I’m the guy you described in the second paragraph, sadly. Headstrong and indifferent to anything and everything that the world has to say about my world views. Pretty accurate.

Yeah! Hachi isn’t even a year old yet. This kiddo here is a product of lack of attention. Dogs should usually skip their first cycle before being allowed to get preggo, but I guess it all worked out in the end. Yakult’s our new little bundle of joy ♥

She took after me, obviously. HAHAHA! Seriously though, thanks. Kind words always put a smile on her face. She’s takes after my parents. An artistic lot, they all are.

Hers was made from steel cookie sheets, and her date’s was made from plastic boards, since it was made last minute. She cut them up, one teardrop-looking piece at a time, spray-painted them gold, and then strung/glued them all together.
